Deep Drop Electric Reel Combo - Daiwa Tanacom Z 55XHST Rod / Daiwa Seaborg Megatwin 1200MJ Reel
This is our deep drop "all round" combo which has been designed by the team to be just that, all round. The Tanacom Z rod is senstive enough to feel the subtle bites from smaller fish but still packs a punch when needed. Especially if the odd swordfish is lurking around your bait.
If you're wanting a combo that's great for a range of fish and depths then this combo is ideal! Spooled with premium 80lb braid using our state-of-the-art spooling machine this premium kit is ready to fish straight off the shelf.

Rod - Daiwa 22 Tanacom Z Electric Rod
A name synonymous with Daiwa electric rods and reels, TANACOM Z rods are a perfect match to the new TANACOM reels to offer a complete solution to dominate the deep.
TANACOM Z blanks are built using Daiwa’s GLATECH construction, a unique process which lays linear fibreglass sheet over a carbon blank to give the shock-absorbing nature of a fibreglass blank without the increase in weight and loss in sensitivity.
X45 technology is used on the carbon core blank where 45 degree carbon is laid in both directions to eliminate blank twisting which is important for dendoh rods in particular. Fuji heavy-duty boat guides with their SiN II ceramic insert are both incredibly strong and smooth, capable of handling extreme pressure from heavy braided line over long drawn out fights from monsters of the deep. An ALPS heavy duty swivelling roller tip is also installed to control the line flow from the rod tip and minimise heat build-up as the line enters the guides.
