The XX-Heavy Tanacom Z rod paired with one of Daiwa's most powerful electric reels is ideal for deep dropping big fish like blue eye cod, hapuka, ruby snapper and the prized swordfish. The team here have spooled it with premium 100lb braid line with our state-of-the-art spooling machine so it's ready to drop straight off the shelf.

Rod - Daiwa 22 Tanacom Z Electric Rod
A name synonymous with Daiwa electric rods and reels, TANACOM Z rods are a perfect match to the new TANACOM reels to offer a complete solution to dominate the deep.
TANACOM Z blanks are built using Daiwa’s GLATECH construction, a unique process which lays linear fibreglass sheet over a carbon blank to give the shock-absorbing nature of a fibreglass blank without the increase in weight and loss in sensitivity.
X45 technology is used on the carbon core blank where 45 degree carbon is laid in both directions to eliminate blank twisting which is important for dendoh rods in particular. Fuji heavy-duty boat guides with their SiN II ceramic insert are both incredibly strong and smooth, capable of handling extreme pressure from heavy braided line over long drawn out fights from monsters of the deep. An ALPS heavy duty swivelling roller tip is also installed to control the line flow from the rod tip and minimise heat build-up as the line enters the guides.

Deep dropping for the world’s largest & most powerful fish just became a reality with the all-new Seaborg G1800M-RJ. Dubbed Ironking Monster, the new Seaborg is the most-powerful ever produced, with a new Megatorque-G motor almost double the size of that found in the smaller 1200MJ. Equipped with 50kg maximum drag and a max hoisting force of 80kg (JAFS Standard).
As with the other Seaborg larger models a two-speed function is present and allows for fast retrieval of rigs or smaller fish, combined with a low power-gear for maximum hoisting force for pulling big bass, hapuka, bar cod or swordfish from the bottom.
